How to remove dry patches from your skin using only 2 ingredients;

Dry skin is a common problem which might not be as annoying at first, but when applying foundation, the product sticks onto the dry patches on your skin, making it look "cakey" and unappealing.

I have tried out many techniques with oil but I found one very effective way of removing dry patches in one wash!

All you need is coconut oil and caster sugar.

1.Heat 1 heaped table spoon of the coconut oil in a microwave or on the stove, and add 2 table spoons of caster sugar.

2.Give this a mix and use it on your face before applying any makeup.

3.Use it as the usual facial scrub. The key point here is to gently scrub it into your face continuously for 3 minutes. Only then you will see a difference straight away.

4.After 3 minutes, wash it off but don't use any soap or any face wash. This is so that the oil doesn't come off.

5.After that, pat your face dry to remove excess oil.

Now your face will be a smooth and perfect canvas for your foundation!

-This is not suitable for oily skin
-Make sure that you are not allergic to coconut oil or caster sugar.
-Use a gentle hand, too much pressure may cause the sugar to irritate the skin.

*This is something that has worked for me. Everyone is different and the success of this DIY depends on the extent of someones dry skin. Let me know if you try it!:)
