Rice Powder Face Mask for dull/uneven skin
15:47:00This mask is INSANE.
It works very well in fighting problems such as;
-Dullness in the skin
-Pigmentation, due to e.g. burns caused by using harsh products, sun burns etc.
-Darker mouth area
All you need for this DIY is three ingredients which you will probably obviously have at home.
1. Rice
2. Milk
3. Lemon
Method; (This is quick and easy)
-Put a hand full of rice in the blender and blend until it becomes a powder
-Take two tbsp of milk and one tbsp of lemon juice
-Add in some of the blended rice flour until the mixture becomes thick but spreadable
-Apply this on your face using a brush or your fingers and leave it on for 10-15 minutes
That's it!
Do this once-twice a week depending on how well your skin is doing.
I really hope this helps!
I originally got this DIY a long while ago from Farah Dhukai.

I tried it and added my own third ingredient which is the lemon juice. This is so that the mask can really get deep into the pores and cleanse out any dirt that is in there. The lemon juice also helps acne/blemishes. It can feel a little irritating and lemon makes my skin sting. But I just use a little bit of lemon juice and more milk so that it doesn't sting. This is just how it works for me it might not make you guys feel uncomfortable at all!
I feel like the lemon juice helps get the skin looking even toned and bright more faster. One thing I would like to stress on is the word 'brighten'. This doesn't mean making the skin colour lighter.
'Bright' in this concept means an even skin tone all over the face. A burn caused by a product can leave dark patches on the face and this mask will help reduce that darkness and it will eventually fade.
Making sure to keep this DIY up for at least once a week will ensure that it works!
Always make sure that you are not allergic to anything and test it out first.
If the lemon stings, it will probably stop after a few minutes. If it doesn't, it's still okay because no pain no gain, right? But please do remove the mask if you feel like it's damaging your skin for whatever reason. Always do a patch test first!
